"Welcome to Days in the Life… my name is Gerry. I was born in 1965, in Manila, though I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago (largely in homogeneous little Skokie, Illinois)… I studied to be an engineer, snagged a childhood-dream job in the space program, found unfulfillment and mediocrity in myself on that life path and eventually grew up to become an artist and designer (as I was always meant to be). Now I live solo in Houston, where I’ve been since my NASA days."
