I didn't know that it was on, but luckily caught the show. It was amazing... like my personal list of favorites. First, the amazing Dolly Parton.
And of course Smokey.
Two words that make me stop and take notice: Zubin Mehta. (Oh, and Horowitz too...)
Andrew Lloyd Weber has always made wonderful music. And he was married to Sara Brightman... that's cool.
sorry for the midweek concert, but - damn that was a fine couple of hours of tv.
