A Year of Twitter Awesomeness: By the Awesomest Trudy. Photographers take a look.

Stuff That Matters

1) Skip Cohen called me. Yes...the Skip. Hehe. Skip is a major powerhouse in photography with a career spanning almost 4 decades. I spoke with him and he was very pleased with my work, especially my portraits of men, complimented specific images and offered me a guest post on his highly popular blog, Marketing Essentials International. I was honored and enjoyed chatting with him, listening to his stories and getting insights into the industry. It was a great way to end the year. How did he find me? He checked me out after I retweeted one of his tweets: "When your work speaks for itself, don’t interrupt." ~ Henry J. Kaiser. He told me that my work spoke for itself.

Trust me, you gotta read the whole thing. Well defined reasons for social marketing and Twitter. Trude really shares a lot on this post.

And thanks, Trudy. I am indeed humbled.
