Gas Prices Are Up, But Is That A Good Thing? - cbs2chicago.com

OK... the first graph here is something about Blakely reports it may be a good thing. Do you see anywhere in this article a bright side? WTF is that about? No where else in this article is it a good thing, unless you see the mention of the reason is that the economy is "heating up" and causing it. Well, if the heating up is causing it, and it will kill the recovery... explain that to me? Crappy MSM editing, or just wanting to put a 'good spin' on it so no one is, you know, embarrassed.

And, BTW... when EVER are gas prices going up, especially in a recession, a good thing? When? This is abominably stupid reporting. Right on track, CBS.
Gas Prices Are Up, But Is That A Good Thing? - cbs2chicago.com:

"But as CBS 2's Derrick Blakley reports, the higher prices might actually be a good thing.

The growing pain at the pump kind of snuck up on many Chicago drivers, but now they're really feeling the bite.

'I just paid $3.54 for gas,' said Michelle as she filled up at a Chicago gas station. 'It's just outrageous.'

Just a month ago, according to AAA Chicago, unleaded regular averaged $2.86 a gallon in the Chicago area.

Last week, it was $3.02."

I just paid 99.9 cents per litre, there are 3.8 litres per US gallon, my dollar is very near par, that's $3.80 per gallon. Tonight at midnight it's going up again. Somebody is getting rich.
