I respectfully disagree with you.Vision is what client's are wanting. How a photgrapher sees. Yes there are thousands of photographers out there. the large majority do not have an understanding as to what client's want and and are not vision driven. With that in mind the vast majority of "photographers" are not at all in the running. Photography is competitive in numbers only and a photographer who defines their style and builds a body of work deep enough to build trust and sell, AND THEN develops the tools to consistently speak to a defined market will succeed. I have seen this over and over again and I am in the trenches.
S I feel quite confident when I say you have no competition if indeed you remove yourself from the numbers and distinguish yourself as a player who knows what the buyer is looking for and that is vision.
