A second report from the department showed nonfarm productivity increased at a 1.6 percent annual rate, braking from a 2.9 percent pace in the fourth quarter. The growth pace was above economists' expectations for 1 percent.
Truly, the thing that is surprising is that the MSM keeps going back to the same sources again and again. And so far this year - the numbers have been 'unexpected' and 'surprising' each and every month.
That much 'surprise' sounds more like gross incompetence to me.
