It sucks for the photographer who gets the creative inspiration and manifests it and puts it out into the world. But I also think it must suck for the copier. I mean, why be a photographer if all you do is someone else’s work?
I believe in the method of learning that goes:
Imitate. Assimilate. Innovate.
Too many never move past the second part.
The first two are a bit of a challenge, but doable for most.
The magic is in number three... and it is a bitch!
But oh-so-worth it.
What are your thoughts on copying another photographer's work/style to the pixel?
