This morning I went to the Doc to get some blood work done. Show up on time and am handed a packet of papers to fill out.
Now, you may be thinking that is normal. Well, my wife and my 3 kids and I have been going to this doctor for over 8 years. We have filled these things out time and time again. All the same information - address - phone - insurance.... etc...
"Can't you just get this information once and fill it in?" I asked.
No. Of course not. The government and the insurance industry are too backward and steeped in ludditology to ever make that happen.
"At least you should make these available on your web site so I could have downloaded them and filled them out yesterday," I implored.
"We don't have a web site." Ahhh.
Poor customer service has me looking for another doctor. And you can imagine what billings my little family generate.
What poor customer service items could be chasing your clients away? What inattention to details could have them looking for another photographer of designer? What could your web site do to help you retain customers?
I can think of several ideas... you should too.
