Now this is interesting. I decided that this Halloween I would get some good pics of my girls in their costumes. On camera flash point'n shoots weren't cutting it. Brought home the strobes and the stands and the backdrop and set it up on the front porch. After I shot the girls my neighbor comes over and asks if I will shoot his girls. "Sure." As the halloween crowd (mostly shorter versions of scary villains) started flowing in I offered to photograph the kids and give the folks a print. Went over huge and after I gave the small prints out, I am still getting print orders for the larger images.
Now - yesterday I get a call from a neighbor (the cute kid in the lion suit) who has an import business. Has 80 shots to do and a budget to work with that I can certainly work with. After we book the photo shoot, we look at his website and discover that his Google rankings suck. After a quick perusal, I gave him an overview of the problems and now have a contract to help him rework his site and create a Google AdWord program.
Give it away? You bet. Cause the future depends on what we do today.
