The post over at workbetterblog is about music. I see a correlation with photography. It could work this way:

• Photographers have clients that sign up to an RSS feed.
  
• Photographer can 'push' images to clients wanting to see latest work.
  
• Clients can collaborate with photographer to create the specific images the client needs.
  

Sort of a private Flickr for clients, ya know.

Stock shooters, editorial and fineart shooters now could publish works in progress for specified clients.
