Blogging has been slow...

It has been a strange and, well, interesting week or two for me and that has caused a bit of a slowdown in my blogging. My oldest daughter shipped out for the Air Force last Tuesday. She is headed for Airborne Linguist, and will be attending the world class school at Montery, CA. She also decided to get married 4 days before shipping out and we had two days to get that done... (don't ask). Add to that, we have decided to remodel the chateau... tile instead of carpet and new ceilings... what a mess. Have been literally working 16 hour days... We are ready for the tilers now, my daughter is at boot camp and there seems to be a returning to the normalcy we are used to enjoying... a normalcy that is one notch above insanity sometimes. Of course, we leave for a skating competition next Wednesday... so who knows....
